Franklin is Lost - Week 8 Oct. 21-25
Franklin is Lost - Read-a-loud
Franklin disobeys his parent and ends up lost in the woods during a game of hide-and-seek. He learns about the importance of obeying.
Social Studies - Communities
Our focus for communities this week was on Police Officers. We talked about what a Police Officer does besides catch 'bad guys'. Police officers are also a safe person to rely on when we are hurt, scared or lost.
Language Arts -
We continued in our workbooks this week using Explode the Code for Phonics and Handwriting without tears for printing practice
Health and Safety -
We did an 'I am lost' worksheet. We recorded our fingerprints like a police officer would and wrote down our address, weight and information. We are working on reviewing our full names, parents and family members' full names. I would like Liam to have his address memorized at some point which we will keep working on.
